A SYMPHONY OF LEGENDS “WORLD OF FANTASY” CELEBRATES THE MUSIC THAT MOVES VIRTUAL WORLDS

Cantabile is thrilled to announce an unforgettable evening of music at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre - Concert Hall on 4 June 2025 at 8:00 PM – World of Fantasy: Video Games in Concert. This special concert will showcase the rich diversity of music production and its profound connection to our daily lives performed by a symphony orchestra and chorus. Music selection from Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart, Tetris (Game Boy), Final Fantasy, Halo, The Legend of Zelda, World of Warcraft, Diablo III, etc.
 
The journey through various music genres will take the audience to experience how music is playing an integral part of many aspects of life and not just a standalone art form. The performance will demonstrate how music enhances storytelling, creates atmosphere, and elevates experiences where we often overlook. 
 
This concert also marks a significant milestone for Cantabile’s second conducting internship program, providing a platform for aspiring young conductors to hone their craft. Lam Tsz Ho, the conducting intern for this season, will take on the role of Assistant Conductor for the evening. This invaluable opportunity will allow Tsz Ho to lead a large ensemble of orchestra and choir, gaining hands-on experience and building confidence in conducting.

電玩配樂編出交響曲   推動幻想世界的超級樂章 

Cantabile將於二零二五年六月四日晚上八時正假 香港文化中心-音樂廳舉辦一場由管弦樂團和合唱團演出的音樂會World of Fantasy: Video Games in Concert，展示電子遊戲配樂的多樣性及其與我們日常生活的深刻聯繫。音樂選曲包括《超級瑪利歐兄弟》、《瑪利歐賽車》、《俄羅斯方塊》（Game Boy版）、《最終幻想》、《光環》、《薩爾達傳說》、《魔獸世界》、《暗黑破壞神III》等。
 
這場由多種音樂風格組成的旅程將帶領觀眾體驗音樂在生活中扮演的不可或缺的角色，透過增強敘述故事的效果和營造場景氛圍，不知不覺地提升玩家的體驗。
 
是次音樂會標誌著Cantabile第二屆指揮實習計劃的重要里程碑，為有抱負的年輕指揮家提供一個磨練技能的平台。本季的實習生林子皓將擔任音樂會的助理指揮，透過領導一個大型的管弦樂團和合唱團，從中獲得實踐經驗並建立信心。
