「命裡有時終須有， 命裡無時莫強求」- 這兩句歌詞已能道出人生一重要哲學。這就是粵語流行曲的力量。粵語流行曲除了訴說家庭和愛情故事、工作和理想外，或富趣味性或帶啟發性，有時還讓人反思生活態度和價值觀。Cantabile 將於二零一八年一月五日星期五晚上八時正假 香港大會堂 – 音樂廳藉著音樂會《粵唱粵強》跟觀眾一一回味。

毋庸置疑，大部分在香港長大的人都擁有「屬於我那時代的歌曲」，哪怕是 70 年代、 80 年代、90 年代或千禧年代。粵語流行曲在每個時代都有著其經典歌曲，以及標誌著那時代的歌手。在這個音樂會，我們將探討組成這些經典歷史的粵語流行曲，從 80 年代街知巷聞的歌詞，到「四大天王」時代或是電視廣告中為人熟悉的旋律，我們將把這些粵語歌重新編曲成無伴奏合唱版本，為經典歌曲帶來全新面貌。在音樂會的下半場，我們會把一些經典歌曲串連成一個迷你音樂劇，把粵語流行曲的特質充分呈現出來！

A JOURNEY THROUGH CLASSIC CANTON POP AND A LIGHT MUSICAL

In some classic Cantonese songs, two lines of lyrics could have already stated out some of the most important philosophies in life. This is the power of Canton pop. It tells the stories about family, love, career and vision. Sometimes it’s fascinating, sometimes it’s inspiring, it allows us to rethink about our lifestyle and core values. To feel the essence of Canton pop in depth, Cantabile is going to bring these legendary songs to the concert Canton-Mania on 5th January 2018 at 8pm at Hong Kong City Hall – Concert Hall.

Most of us who grew up in Hong Kong will no doubt have “songs of our era”, whether it is the 70s, 80s, 90s, or millennium era. Canton pop in each era has its own classic songs as well as iconic singers who represent that era. In this concert, we will explore these well-known tunes that contribute to the history of Canton pop, whether it is the famous lyrics from the 80s, or the familiar tunes we hear from TV ads. We will rearrange these melodies in a cappella version that will give these songs a new outfit. We will also have a mini musical in the second half of the concert using these classic tunes to showcase the power of Canton pop!
